What is Red Letter Cards?
Red Letter Cards is a daily devotional iOS app. You pin a personal problem you are walking with, and each day you draw three verses from the red-letter teachings of Jesus, paired with a short pastoral reflection written for what you are going through.
How does the subscription work?
Red Letter Cards offers a single auto-renewable subscription, Red Letter Cards Annual, for $39.99 per year, which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The subscription renews automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not within the app. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, tap Red Letter Cards, then tap Cancel Subscription. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
How do I restore a purchase?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open the subscription screen and tap Restore. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Why can I only draw one reading per day?
This is by design. Red Letter Cards is built as a daily ritual rather than an endless feed — one unhurried reading a day. The draw becomes available again the next day.
How is my data handled?
Your readings, journal entries, name, and theme preference are stored only on your device. When you draw a reading, the problem you pinned and the verses you drew are sent over an encrypted connection to generate your reflection using Anthropic's Claude AI. This text is not stored on our servers, and Anthropic does not use it to train its models. The app collects no account, contact, location, health, or financial data. A reading will not generate, or the app seems stuck.
Readings require an internet connection. Check that you are online, then close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, email us at contact@getfaithdaily.com and let us know your device model and iOS version.
